Everyone staying in? Staying healthy?  Eden and Pam have stories to encourage you.

Bo and Lucky have had a dreadful time at holidays. Somehow their cases conspire to keep them away from each other, but Eden’s done a little something to make their Christmas memorable. Free for a few days at Amazon:

Lucky has dreamed of an old-fashioned Christmas with Bo for years. Unfortunately, something always got in the way. This year is looking unusually promising, though, if they can keep well-intentioned family and work from spoiling the magic of the season. Their first Christmas together will set the bar for years to come, which means blending their favorite traditions and taking the best of both.

Last minute shopping? Bo’s list. Holiday junk food? Lucky’s. Nostalgic Christmas songs? Bo’s. Hiding to avoid the dreaded office Christmas party? Not Bo’s. And while Lucky is up for compromise, he’s got something extra special planned for his partner, something a little bit naughty and whole lot nice.

Pam’s been getting the Mountain series back up and running. So far, Fire on the Mountain and Snow on the Mountain of the novels are available, plus some shorts. Into the Mountains is the prequel for Fire, and it stands alone now, ready to be Kurt and Jake’s origin story, rather than hiding at the back of the book to make you go hmm.

Into the Mountains is free for a week via Rocky Ridge Books’ new storefront. We’re still under construction, but it’s worth braving the dust. There’s also a Mark and Allan free short, just to encourage you to look around.

Why did Kurt Carlson become a forest ranger?

Long before he met Jake, Kurt climbed the monoliths of Yosemite with his best friend, Benji. But after a storm traps them halfway up the face of El Capitan, Kurt has to accept that their friendship isn’t what he thought.

Why did Jake Landon become a forest ranger?

A trip with his college friends to a hot springs resort should be fun, not disastrous. But for a man who’s still deep in the closet, everything that can go wrong does go wrong.

Everything leads to two men alone in the wilderness in this prequel to Fire on the Mountain.
